For The University of Groningen
(2024 - now)
For the University of Groningen I was allowed to make the interface of the simulation and education game OptiEcon. In OptiEcon students at the Faculty of Economics and Business learn to run a virtual beer brewery. Every round the students make choices based on data from other companies and the results of previous rounds. The game has been played successfully several times and won the audience award for innovation from the faculty.

For Stichting Keyf
(2023 - now)
For Stichting Keyf I was allowed to make a book webshop that took their personal wishes into account. The existing webshop was not able to deal with the large amount of titles, while they also wished to offer the website in several languages. This was a challenge that I was willing to take on, and together with Stichting Keyf the result was a fast and user-friendly webshop in four languages. The collaboration went so well that we work together to this day to continuously improve the webshop.

With me each project starts with an introductory meeting where we discuss your wishes and the possibilities together. Preferably I work with satisfied customers and that is why I like to also provide an honest overview of the alternatives. When a website launches, it is often only the start of the journey. That is why I also offer continuous support after launch when you run into possible obstacles or issues. Additionally I do not mind making small improvements free of charge. You pay for a website that simply works and that trust is something I want to take seriously.

At an introductory meeting I like to ask for the requirements and what the available budget is. If it turns out that not all required specifications are realizable within this budget I keep an eye on the possibilities still available. It is always possible to realize additional website expansions at a later point when the website has had time to proof itself.

By writing the code myself, I prevent unnecessary additions and can guarantee that pages load quickly.

Nowadays websites are visited on all sorts of devices with varying screen sizes and browsers. This can cause quite the headache but I am happy to take this burden away from you. My websites are made to function on desktops, tablets as well as on mobile phones.

Launching a website involves a lot of additional items that might not come to mind right away. Of course I am happy to explain all these items and additionally I can arrange them for you. This way you can be assured that your website appears online quickly and well.
